Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is from Belarus and was born in Minsk. Sergey Her father (who passed away in 2019) was a hockey ice player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5th, 1998. Aryna is the holder of twelve WTA Singles titles, one of which was the "Grand Slam" at the Australian Open 2023. For doubles she's a great player. She's taken home two majors along with Elise Mertens: the US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. Together with her fellow Belgian tennis star, she won an award called the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in 2019, thus completing the Sunshine Double. The Sunshine Double was only possible for four couples. achieve this feat in women's doubles. On 23 August 2021 she was ranked second on the list of world singles rankings the highest position she had ever reached in January 2023. Following her victory at the Melbourne doubles event in February 2021, she was able to move up the rankings to be the number one player on the list of that particular specialty. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until the season came to an end in 2019 as well as for a brief period at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach from the month of August through September 2020. At the time of her retirement, she has been coached by her host countryman Antonio Dubrov.
